Stephanie: Aligner Delivery 16-18 & 19-20

Stephanie

Chief Complaint:

Teeth becoming more crowded

Aligner Delivery 16-18

Stephanie reports that she is doing well and is most compliant. As can be seen in the photos with the aligner in place, the aligners fit well with little on no space between the occlusal portion of the teeth and the internal occlusal portion of the aligner plastic. The contacts were checked, as is the case at each monitoring visit, and there were no tight contacts. In this case, no additional IPR was indicated.

Stephanie was given here next 3 aligners lower #16, 17, 18. As her teeth appear to be tracking well, she is scheduled to change each aligner after two weeks of wear. She will be scheduled for her next visit in 6 weeks.

Aligner Delivery 19-20

The lower anterior teeth appear to have some rotation movement lag. The pictures show Stephanie with and without aligners at the completion of wear of aligner 18. The contacts were checked and appeared to not be tight. Although there appears to be some lower anterior rotation lag, Stephanie agreed to wear the last two aligners #19 and 20 faithfully to attempt to complete the movements.

If the observed slight rotation lag results in incomplete execution of the de-rotation movements of the lower incisors, we anticipate using a refinement to complete the movements.

Stephanie was given her last two lower aligners, #19 and 20. Her next monitoring visit will be in 4 weeks after wear of aligners #19 and 20.
